Directions to United Methodist Church, New BrunswickFrom N.Y. and North: Take NJ Turnpike South to Exit 9 (New Brunswick). After the toll, stay right to get onto Route 18 North, and then ease into the left lane. Go along Route 18 for a few minutes. Take the exit for New Street. On New Street, pass one light at Nielson, and go right into the Municipal Parking lot. Drive all the way to the end of the lot and park. You are now near Liberty Street. Walk out of the lot, and make a left onto Liberty Street. You are now facing the back of the Church. Enter the side door on Liberty Street. The handicap accessible door is also on Liberty Street. Or Take Garden State Parkway South to Exit 130, for Route 1 South, toward New Brunswick and Trenton. Follow Route 1 South to Route 18 North, and then follow the directions above. From Princeton and South: Take Route 27 North. Pass Kingston Presbyterian Church. Drive 14 miles. In New Brunswick, pass Imaging Center on left. Go under train overpass. At Easton, see train station on left, At next light, George Street, turn right and go approximately four lights to Livingston Ave. See United Methodist Church at far corner at left, at corner of George Street and Liberty Street. For public parking, go left onto Liberty Street, and go one very long block. Option one: Parking deck at left. Option two: At end of block, make a right, go one block, onto Nielson, go one block on Neilson, make another right onto New Street. Go almost one block on New Street, and go right into outdoor Municipal Parking lot. Drive to the furthest end of the lot, which is next to Liberty Street, and park. Walk out of the lot, making a left onto Liberty Street. Walk a short distance on Liberty (2 minutes) to the side door of the church. The handicap accessible door is also on Liberty Street. From Pennsylvania and South: Take I-95 to Exit 9 (New Brunswick). Follow signs for Route 18 North. Follow the directions above: "From N.Y. and North." Public Transportation: You can travel by bus (Suburban Transit) or train (NJ Transit) to New Brunswick. If traveling south by train to New Brunswick, exit near front of train, walk forward to stairs, and down to the street ( Easton Ave). If traveling north by train to New Brunswick, exit near the middle of the train, onto platform, enter station, and walk down stairs to street (Easton Ave.). (In case the station is closed, there are outside stairs.) Make a left onto Easton, and left again onto Albany Street. This is also the corner where the bus for New Brunswick stops. Walk about two blocks on Albany to George Street. Walk about six blocks on George Street to the corner of George Street and Livingston. See the United Methodist Church on that corner on your left.
